In Ukraine, on Sunday morning, the runoff for presidential office began. The approximately 30 million voters are called to decide between incumbent Petro Poroshenko and the political novice Volodymyr Selenskyj. First forecasts are expected shortly after the polling stations close at 7:00 pm CEST.
In the bloated conflict separatist areas of Donetsk and Luhansk in the east of the former Soviet republic is not elected.
