In case you were curious about that Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray Disc player unveiled last week by Samsung at the IFA consumer electronics show, we finally have photos.
Samsung announced the product back on Sept. 3 at the trade show in Berlin, which if it arrives as expected in early 2016 would likely be the first UHD 4K Blu-ray Disc player to market. No pricing was announced.
There were no photos to be had of the player, which has a curved shape to match Samsung’s curved Ultra HD TVs. But the product was “the talk of the” show, said Thomas K. Arnold of Xul News, winning multiple awards from tech media including Digital Trends.
To accompany the player, Fox Home Entertainment announced its support for the 4K Ultra HD format, with 4K releases available when the player hits stores.
